Refund Policy
1. Refund Eligibility
- Change of Mind: Refunds for change of mind are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. To be eligible, your item must be unopened, with package seals intact, and in the same condition that you received it. The box must also be undamaged.
- Defective or Faulty Products: Refunds or replacements for defective or faulty products will be honored in line with Australian Consumer Law. This applies within 12 months from the date of purchase. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
2. Refund Process
- To request a refund, contact us at contact@rivalperformance.com within 30 days of your purchase for change of mind, or within 12 months for defective or faulty products. Please provide your order number and a description of the issue.
- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Contact us to arrange a return label, which can be printed and affixed over the old shipping label. Ensure that all existing addresses and barcodes/QR codes are removed or obstructed.
3. Refund Approval
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days.
4. Late or Missing Refunds
- If you haven’t received a refund within the stated period, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@rivalperformance.com.
5. Exchanges
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, contact us at contact@rivalperformance.com. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

7. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
- If the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. Your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
